TEMP M-F 1ST SHIFT 730A-4P
Under the direct supervision of the Shop Supervisor, or other designated personnel, performs skilled journeyman level work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of Plumbing systems, following recognized techniques and procedures according to the National and State Plumbing Code. Will supervise helpers and assistants as assigned.
Qualifications include a minimum of five years recent full time experience as a Journeyman Plumber.
Current valid Journeyman Plumbers License
High school graduate.
Waste water License and/or ability to obtain one within one year from date of employment.
Specialized experience in laboratory piping and waste systems, include acid resistant drain systems, RO/Dl water systems piping, acid neutralization tank systems, and laboratory gas piping is required.
Must be able to read and understand plans, blueprints and schematics related to Plumbing systems, and demonstrated ability to work independently and from written or verbal instructions.
Skill in the use of equipment and tools used in the trade. Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
