Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $45,650 to $57,050; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Campus Recreation cultivates life-long health and active lifestyle experiences for the BC community. We honor the Jesuit Catholic commitment to the formation of the whole person through diverse programming in a safe, inclusive environment. Campus Recreation serves over 15,000 members on an annual basis, with an excess of 600,000 visitors. We are currently under construction of the new 244,000 sq. ft. Margot Connell Recreation Center, that will replace our current Flynn Recreation Complex this summer. As of now more than 3,500 members utilize our current facilities on a daily basis; Current facilities include the Flynn Recreation Complex, Newton Quonset Hut, and outdoor recreation fields and courts.
The Member Services and Operations Coordinator duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for managing all services and sales including memberships, lockers, services, programs, and guest fees.Hiring authority for and oversight of the student staff for control, equipment, and member services desks. Responsible for researching, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting for items for sale and check out at equipment desk. Assists in daily operation of Fusion, department’s enterprise membership software system. Work in conjunction with Manager, Member Sales and Services to assist with Supported Employment Program (SEP) staff and assignments. Conducts in-service and cross trainings for services staff and facility supervisors. Serve as the Manager on Duty for all Campus Recreation facilities including evening and weekend hours as assigned; responds to any incident or accident. Requirements
Bachelor in Recreation Management or related field, Masters Preferred or equivalent work experience. American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR/AED/First Aid certified. American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor certified or obtain within first three months of employment. Requires 1-3 years of experience in recreation facility, university setting preferred. Experience using membership enterprise software system required, experience using Innosoft Fusion at the administrator level preferred. Must have excellent people management and interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated organizational skills.Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to exercise good judgment.Must have experience in public speaking, running and speaking at informational sessions, trainings, and other events.This position will be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC, and Institutional rules.Responsible for working set shifts: Sunday-Thursday.In addition, this position requires nights and weekends.Closing Statement
