Boston College Introduction

(Part –time, 20 hours / week, 36 weeks/ year) Schedule: Monday – Friday 10 am – 2 pm
Reports to the Manager, Mail Services and is responsible for the sorting and processing of
mail and packages. Will handle confidential and sensitive mail according to the
guidelines established by the United States Post Office and the Campus Mail
Services. Able to work a computer and mobile devices while processing student packages. Requires excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
with heavy student traffic. Work in a student package processing area.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift and move packages up to a 50 pound weight
Must have excellent communication skills (answering telephone and assisting customers.)
Must be able to stay on your feet for a long period of time, which requires frequent bending
Must require basic data entry skills.
