Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Shop Foreman, or other designated personnel, performs skilled journeyman level work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of Plumbing systems, following recognized techniques and procedures according to the National and State Plumbing Code.  Will supervise helpers and assistants as assigned.

Requirements 
* A current valid Journeyman Plumbers License
(Please note, this is an exception for the temporary role and if their role was posted as a full time position candidates would need the Qualification of a minimum of five years recent full time experience as a Journeyman Plumber working for a licensed Contractor, or maintenance organization. 
* High school graduate. 
* Waste water License and/or ability to obtain one within one year from date of employment.  
* Specialized experience in laboratory piping and waste systems, include acid resistant drain systems, RO/Dl water systems piping, acid neutralization tank systems, and laboratory gas piping is required.  
* Must be able to read and understand plans, blueprints and schematics related to Plumbing systems, and demonstrated ability to work independently and from written or verbal instructions.  
* Skill in the use of equipment and tools used in the trade.  
* Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
